Looking Up

Good news! School life is looking up. I am getting along much better with my cello teacher, I think we have finally engaged a similar wavelength (actually, quite an appropriate metaphor consider the science of music). To aid in the goodness of school is the fact that plane tickets have been booked and a return to Winnipeg is in site. Regular video calls with family and friends is also a great grounding ritual and is helping greatly with keeping the sanity on this venture.

Furthermore, we have found a great church with a functioning young adults group (well technically 25-30 group but I think we get lumped in there because we're married). We are even getting a pastoral visit this week, for which I must clean the apartment. Breslau Mennonite is not a very large congregation so they are able to celebrate the significant personal achievements of their community. This past Sunday there was a tribute to a man who turned 80 and the week before their was a celebration of the 25th anniversary of a couple in the congregation. I think the week before that it was a double 12th birthday celebration. Lots of celebration and fellowship with this group of people.

Miss you all. See many of you soon!
