Today we reached Llandudno, Wales. Our trip here was nice. We had a serendipitous meeting with Jeremy's friend Wayne at the ferry station. He and his travelling buddy were taking the same ferry as us, so we were able to spend a good amount of time with them. It was nice to see some familiar faces.
To back track, we were in Kilkenny yesterday (July 20) which is a lovely medieval city. We strolled through the castle park and had ice cream. We had missed the last Smithwicks brewery tour so Jeremy was a bit disappointed. Our plan was to catch a play at the Watergate theatre but it was sold out. Instead we spent the evening in a pub listening to some excellent traditional music.
And now we have left the Emerald Isle but we have entered a region equally as green. Missing you all.
